"All Nighter" Closes the Late-Night Gap in Regional Transit Service
Expanded bus service connecting most BART stations during the late-night hours when BART trains don't run was officially launched on March 21, 2006.  Called the All Nighter, the service is a convenient option for those who work the late shift or go to events that run past midnight, when BART closes. The service, which runs from approximately 12:30 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. (and later on weekends), is operated by AC Transit, County Connection, Muni, SamTrans, and WHEELS.  A coordinated network with timed transfers has been created between their existing routes.  [More]
