The Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority (LAVTA) is the Joint Powers government agency operating Wheels Fixed-Route and Dial-A-Ride in the Tri-Valley Area.  LAVTA was formed in 1986 by the cities of Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton and Alameda County, and has a Board of Directors composed of two city council members from each city and the county supervisor from the area as well as alternates.  The current list was updated January 2008.
