WHEELS Provides FREE Rides on New Year’s Eve;
New Schedule Effective January 1, 2008
WHEELS will continue its tradition of providing free rides on New Year’s Eve this year. Free service will be offered on all WHEELS routes from 6:00 PM on New Year’s Eve, Monday, December 31, 2007, until 6:00 AM on Tuesday, January 1, 2008. This program is provided to encourage safe holiday travel in and around the Tri-Valley. Free service does not include Dial-A-Ride transportation.
New Year’s Eve Schedule
On Monday, December 31, WHEELS will operate a Saturday schedule for all routes, except Routes 20 and 70, which will run on a weekday schedule. In addition, service on Routes 3, 8, 12, 15, and 51 will be extended to operate through the night until approximately 3:30 AM. Routes that do not normally operate on Saturday will not be running on New Year’s Eve.
New Year’s Day Schedule
On Tuesday, January 1, WHEELS will operate a Sunday schedule for all routes.
